Problem

Buffer Cannot Be Null

Solution

The error Buffer Cannot Be Null you are experiencing may be due to the file size of the project. If the size of the project is over 30MB the project will experience issue when opening the project, or editing the project.

To check the size of your project use the following steps:

  1. Click the Start button.
  2. Click Documents (My Documents for Windows XP).
  3. Locate the project file name.
  4. Using the right mouse button click on the project file, in the drop down menu click on Properties.
  5. On the General tab will be the size of the file.

Suggestions to help reduce file sizes:
Resize photos to a small size before adding them to a project.
Using regular text instead of bold text will minimize the text box size.
If creating a multiple page project, break it up into just 1 to 2 pages.
Do not copy and paste text or graphics from another program or the internet.
Save the project file often.

If the file size of the project is over 30MB the project file has become corrupt and the project will need to be recreated.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
