Problem

My Power pack has been installed, but I do not have access to the pull down menu

Solution

While we have not seen any issues with the MAC installs, It has come to our attention that some PC systems have been placing the PowerPack folder into c:/programdata/application data/Punch!. With the folder in this position the PowerPack pull down will not show up on the menu bar in the program.

To resolve this issue you must move the PowerPack folder to the proper location which is c:/ProgramData/Punch!.... to do so please follow the steps below.

Windows 8 & 10

-Access your file explore by clicking the icon on the task bar (it looks like a small folder)

-Double click This PC(My PC) on the left to display the contents.

-Under devices and drives open up your C drive...This will be indicated with (C:) next to it

-Open the ProgramData folder (if you do not see the program data folder click the view tab a the top and check hidden items on the right)

-Open Application data

-Open Punch!

-Right click on PowerPack and select cut.

-Click the back arrow twice to  back out of the Punch! folder and the Application data folder.

- You should now be in the ProgramData folder again, and within this folder there is another Punch! folder Open this and right click an empty space. select paste.  The PowerPack folder should now be in its proper place.

Windows 7/Vista

- From the start menu select Computer.

- Click the organize button in the upper left corner and select folder and search options.

- Click on the view tab and in the bottom section check Show hidden files and folders.

- Apply the changes and click ok to close the dialog box.

- Under devices and drives open up your C drive...This will be indicated with (C:) next to it

- Open the ProgramData folder

- Open Application data

- Open Punch!

- Right click on PowerPack and select cut.

- Click the back arrow twice to  back out of the Punch! folder and the Application data folder.

- You should now be in the ProgramData folder again, and within this folder there is another Punch! folder Open this and right click an empty space. select paste.  The PowerPack folder should now be in its proper place.
