Problem

Solution

When installing your software on Windows 8 computer you may get the following message

This is a new feature of Windows 8 called SmartScreen. This will need to be temporarly disabled to get the software installed on your computer.

Do the following

Go into Control Panel
Select System & Security
Click on Action Center
Select Change Windows SmartScreen Settings

Choose the option: “Don’t do anything (turn off Windows SmartScreen)". Then click on the OK button.

Use the same steps above after the software is installed to enable these settings to the original default settings
